A: So here are some rules for my class, and take notes everyone, I am quite serious about rules when I set them! No using the cell phones in my class! Now as this is the first day there might be certain exceptions, but that’s what the first class is for! I set rules, and students follow them, is that clear? I believe it is.
*cell phone beeps*
A: OH! Did I just hear a cellphone?
B: Oh sorry ma’am, that was mine. It was accident, I promise I won’t let it happen ever again.
A: You sir, with the beanie hat! That’s right, even though I don’t like cell phones in class I like the fact that you were completely honest with me about it. Good going, that certainly shows a lot about your personality I must say. Good first impression.
B: Oh thank you so much, you have no idea how relieved I am to hear that, I really am sorry though, I can tell you I really don’t like going against the teacher at all.
A: Like I said, you are excused as this is the first day, but do remember next time, alright?
B: Alright, will do.
