A: Hi Maurice. Do you feel like talking about what happened earlier today at school?
B: What’s there to talk about?
A: I don’t know, you actually poured a bucket of water on Debby from the sixth grade?
B: Yeah. Not exactly proud of it.
A: Well then why’d you do it?
B: Because she was telling me a knock knock joke.
A: That’s it? That’s why you were mean to her?
B: I hate knock knock jokes. I can never guess who actually knocks the door and I get frustrated.
A: That’s the part of the joke. She only did it to entertain you.
B: I know. I should be punished for being so mean.
A: as long as you apologize and rectify your mistake, I’m sure she’ll forgive you.
