A: Why do people here honk their cars all the time?
B: I don’t know, they are used to it I guess. And there are no laws or regulations against it.
A: That is so strange. Back home, I never hear people honk their horns so much, only when it’s very necessary. It creates sound pollution and is very bad for the environment.
B: People here are used to it to be honest but I do agree about the harmful effects. But there is nothing we can do about it.
A: You can start by honking your horn less and motivating others for doing the same.
B: But there are a lot of stupid people on the road. Not using horns may result in a bigger pollution. Street pollution, when people will move like animals on the street and end up dying.
A: You are right. Keep on honking as loud as you can.
B: Improvement is almost useless here.
