B: Sorry ma’am! I know you don’t like late submission at all! My apologies.
A: Yes by now you should have been aware I have zero tolerance for late submission of work! You were supposed to submit it to me last night, via email.
B: I know ma’am, but please! Try to consider it, something unexpected came up, my daughter suddenly fell ill, and I really had to look after her, in fact she got so sick at night I had to take her to the emergency room really late at night! You see? It really wasn’t my fault, but if you still think it is, then I apologize. I promise it won’t happen again.
A: Oh dear, no no, don’t apologize Jones, it’s me who should apologize to you instead. I am really sorry, I had no idea. No you were right on your aspect, priorities first. You have been excused, infact if needed, do take a day off.
B: Thank you so much for understanding, you really are kind. Yes I might need to take a day off afterall!
