(İngilizce Simple Present Yapısı)

Simple present tense olumlu ifadelerde yardımcı fiil kullanılmaz. I, you, we, they, ve çoğul öznelerle fiil takı almadan getirilir. He, she, it ve diğer 3. tekil şahıslarla fiile –s/-es eklenir. Olumsuz ve sorularda do/does yardımcı fiili kullanılır. (do not= don’t; does not=doesn’t)

(+) They read a book every evening.

(- ) They don’t read a book every evening.

(?) Do they read a book every evening?

• He/she/it

(+) He reads a book every evening.

(- ) He doesn’t read a book every evening.

(?) Does he read a book every evening?

CONTRACTION (Kısaltma):

I do not read = I don’t read

He does not live = He doesn’t live
