Selçuk: Did I ever tell you about the time I had a job that I really hated?

Burak: Not really! What kind of a job was it?

Selçuk: I had to work as a waiter at a cafe when I was a secondary school student. As soon as the school ended, my father held my hand, took me to a place. He told me that I was going to work for that place and a disgusting man.

Burak: Stop and be slower please. I can’t get you. Why did your father want you to work? I remember you were rich in those years too.

Selçuk: It wasn’t about money. He just wanted me to have life experience.

Burak: Why did you hate the job, then?

Selçuk: It was a boring one. The only thing I did was to bring what customers wanted and clean tables after they left the cafe. But what really irritated me was that the boss always took my tips from me and shouted at me whenever I made even a small mistake.

Burak: Didn’t you ever tell your father about the case?

Selçuk: Yes, but he never believed me. Because, the boss was his best friend and he told I was making up stories. I had to spend my whole summer there.

Burak: What about other summers?

Selçuk: Fortunately, he moved to Germany so I did not have to stand him and his cafe any more.
